Introduction

Ms. Aparna Radhakrishnan is affiliated with Princeton University's The Cooperative Institute for Modeling the Earth System (CIMES. The Cooperative Institute for Modeling the Earth System (CIMES) is a collaboration between Princeton University and the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory (GFDL) to carry out research in earth system sciences.

Since 2009, Ms.Radhakrishnan has contributed to the success of the overarching NOAA goals to understand climate variability and change to Enhance Society’s ability to plan and respond (Ack. CIMES annual reports), by her active engagement with the Modeling Systems Division and the Diagnostics and Evaluations Team at NOAA's Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory. Her vast and diverse technical experience in projects such as Coupled Model Intercomparison projects, past efforts on ExArch-NSF funded "User-developed climate analytics on federated archives", statistical downscaling have all stood as a motivation for her present efforts towards reproducible climate analytics. 

Ms. Radhakrishnan's current research efforts focus on providing data services for a wider impact on climate research, in addition to identifiying and promoting innovative techniques for climate analysis. The most interesting terminologies to her at this time are those that even remotely connect to cloud, ML, container, dask. 

Ms. Radhakrishnan believes that the most challenging problems do not necessarily have the most complicated solutions.
